A comment from Poal.co regarding this video: Something worth noting, it was France who first used chemical weapons during WWI, violating the Hague Convention (basically WWI's version of the Geneva Convention). It's often blamed on Germany; however, during the first Battle of Ypres, France used gas against Germany. Germany responded by using gas during the Second Battle of Ypres. Something else to note: despite the Hague Convention banning the use of chemical weapons in war, all major countries involved in the Hague Convention were stockpiling chemical weapons long before they were first used in WWI.
