Jesus on forgiveness
Video posted on tube 2012
Jesus on the Bible doctrine of human forgiveness. This is about forgiving someone that offended you personally. Not to forgive someone that is offending God, like a Satanist. That is not yours to forgive, but only God.
Jesus said to forgive those that offend you. How much more have we as individuals have offended God for our transgressions?
Hating God's enemies are Biblical and Godly....
Psalms 139:20 For they speak against thee wickedly, [and] thine enemies take [thy name] in vain.
Psa 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
Psa 139:22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Psa 139:24 And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Matthew 18:21 Then came Peter to him (Jesus), and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said till seven times (7 X 70) seventy or 490 times and if you are counting you have missed the point.
Matthew 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Do not confuse forgiveness with someone physically hurting your child and then giving them the chance to do it again. That is not forgiveness, but is stupidity.
Remember that Capitol crimes (rape, murder, kidnapping and witchcraft) were to be punished by the ruling Government or authorities with DEATH.
Joseph was the perfect example of human forgiveness. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers and yet he forgave them all.
You have heard the saying: to err (error) is human and to forgive is divine... 2012
